Welcome to Art & Society HUA 192!This will be the blog for our class, where we can continue discussions with each other and apply in-class learning to the world around us.
Each week we'll pick an idea(s) or question(s) and post responses to it using images and writing. (200 word minimum.)
Posts are due by 11:59 on Tuesday. I look at this blog daily, and we'll also look at it during class very frequently.
We'll go over posting guidelines on the first day of class, but some tips are below
How to post:
1. Log in with your gmail account
2. In the upper right hand corner, click on New Post.
3. A window will open up where you can write text in the main box. Be sure to include a title!
4. Adding images is easy- just click on the tiny photo icon in the toolbar below the title. A new window will pop up and allow you to choose a image (jpg, gif, or png files). Click on the image once its uploaded, and choose select file. You can also change the size of the image after it's been uploaded by clicking on the image- medium is a good choice for size.
5. Add any other text, review and hit publish. You can always edit your own posts after you publish.
Also, keep it relevant, keep it on topic, and suitable for school.
Let me know if you have any questions. Posts are due by Tuesday night, and are a significant portion of your overall course grade.
I see art around me almost like everywere, but the most i see it is in the Subways. There are some in my neightborhood, but those are not original to me. The foarm of the art im talking about its based on fruits and vegetables, what i see its other people trying to give a message so you can watch the way you eat.
