1.            Media impacts the art industries today by over pricing tags on specific art of an artist. Filthy and or Rich millionaires to billionaires will defiantly buy a $100,000 painting. History of an artist also molds contemporary society’s value of an artwork by him or her producing what appeals to the bidder or buyer with lots of pocket money. I agree in the fact that an artist must make a living by selling it’s own genuine and personal art work. But I question the business industries’ methods of how it sells art and how it influence the art industry into an informal art commodity.

2.            Does it matter who made it? Yes it does, but is it the artist’s name that gives an art its true value? Personally art should not just be admired but also value it’s significant forms. The perception that evokes aesthetic emotions are the true value of a painting, sculpture, and drawing. These elements should determine the value of an art work.

On a rare occasion, with the money I have now I would buy a painting around $150 by some underground artist or even a friend's painting if it was significant enough to me. I would buy this painting for $50 Designed by JR

Forest Fire Prevention Service Department (F.F.P.S.D)

   
       The cause of forest fires in dry lands are very dangerous to the ecosystem of animals and humans. Forest fires should be taken into serious duty the fact it can happen in spontaneous times. The longer the fire catches something to burn the faster it spreads. The key is preventing forest fires and using safe and efficient methods to extinguish a forest fire. However to initiate this plan, recruiting team members are important for a trusted and knowledgeable forest fire prevention service. Bringing awareness to people using novelties is one of the first process by acquiring students, technicians, Doctors of earth science and biology, and other required members to start. The novelty I’m creating will be sculpted as an icon of a simple ground sprinkler as it sprinkles blue water droplets. The natural flow of the sprinkles arch’s like a flower’s curvy petal. This will be constructed out of non- hardening clay. The ground will be realistic in away as if the portion of the land where the sprinkler was on has been perfectly pulled out in a square shape. In addition the ground will have grass and pebbles and more realistic features to signify the serious effort the Forest Fire Prevention service can offer. When these novelty are photographed and mass manufactured as novelty products, may be then people will care enough to take action.

New York City is the best location for my Museum of Industrial Technologies and resources. The site has to be located near the Brooklyn navy shipyard. Within the area of industrial Brooklyn, MIT makes an outstanding hot spot for all types of people. Attracting business and community progresses the history of society. The MITR's curiosity questions who, what, when, where, how, and why about modern technology and resources. With public programs available, the community is aware where they can learn as well intern (under qualifications) for free.  

 The museum's goal is to display manufactured products from the time industrial revolution began, all the way to our modern times of technology to conceptualize the change in human technology. Manufactured goods such as a car, fridge, stove, sowing machine, camera guns, and computers. All of these goods are vehicle, utilities, tools, weapons, and appliances that advances its own new predecessor. In example from a simple stove to gas stove and to an electric gas stove. All of its parts are different but still functions the same when using it for cooking. One method in Motor vehicle advancements are annually refined by upgrading its efficient computer technology. Citreon was the first motor vehicle to introduce a computer technology with a simple interface that operates the vehicle's manual system. 2014 Mercedes S-Class now has modern computers with innovated technology such as gps navigation, xm radio, video and audio system, Bluetooth, and many more future features. Another exhibit for preview is the Advancements of computer development, the inter web and the reinventions of social media. Friendster, Myspace, Aim, Yahoo messenger, Facebook, Instagram, and many more are connecting archetypes of major to local business. The impact of today's social structure is the improvement of social media as a digital frontier for communications and data transfer in our daily lives. Connecting with people and sharing ideas to open opportunities are flawless solutions by changing the improvement in our lifestyle.

Artist needs materials to illustrate their vision as to inventors need resources for their innovating ideas. From a personal aspect, true and original inventors continue to innovate modern technology for efficiency, quality, convenience, and durability. Sometimes technology looks simple and is complex at the same time, with so many conjunction parts that functions one main purpose. However the fact there are a vast amount of different resources that created a machine or robot for the convenience to society, is the reason why this museum must be built.

    The Metropolitan museum was a historical and social experience! In the gallery walls of the museum were different cultures of paintings that were exhibited in separate time periods. Each time periods had its own room and space, showing sets of different paintings, sculptures, antique items, depending on the relative culture of each galleries. The task of picking out 2 paintings out of thousands of collections was somewhat limited to my freedom of choosing 2 particular art works, as a person who is aesthetically intrigued by forms of art. Georges Braque's Candlestick and playing cards on a table is very different from Amedeo Modigliani's Reclining Nude in terms of style, connotation and the contrast of art elements such as color, shape, texture usage, techniques, and material rendering.
   

     Braque's style is an abstract painting done in an oval canvas which dimensions are, 25-5/8 x 21-3/8 in. (65.1 x 54.3 cm) that represents 3 objects, Candlestick and playing cards on a table as the title represents itself. The cafe like painting expresses its representation of style very abstract and influenced by Picasso's cubism movement. Oval represents a table that supports the two rested, randomly arranged objects, candlestick and playing cards. Using short horizontal texture like strokes throughout the canvass, signifies the grain patterns of the table. While the geometric shapes portray the 2 objects, the cylinder shape on the center of the canvas, is the candlestick, the square and rectangle shapes patterns like playing cards. Noticing that most of the visual elements are concentrated in the center of the oval canvas leaving the side of emptiness. 
     

    Modigliani's depiction of Venus is portrayed as Reclining Nude, considering it very erotic, thus can convey a vast array of aesthetic emotions, from feeling challenged, insulted, outraged, or inspired caused by the provocativeness of his painting. The female model's elongated face portrays the generic icon of a female figure. The reclined positioning and the position pose of his female model signifies the beauty of female curves. Using bold black lines, painting the outline of "Venus'" emphasizes the contours of her body. In addition, the use of his color shows the natural contours from her upper body's bosom, the view of her side abs, down to her bottom, showing a sense of shadow tones. Laying down on a red reclining chair gives more passion to the erotic representational image of Venus, and the red walls in the background. The white pillow and white bed sheet on the opposite side of the canvass, sets the neutral balance from the notion of the scene being to erotic.
    

    Candlestick and playing cards on a table in 1910, as suppose to Modigliani painted Reclining Nude 1917 are different from in their translated connotation, however they are the same in the resources of material such as oil paint on canvas. The interesting part of this trip to the MET Museum is looking and dreaming with the painting. Walking into different exhibitions and seeing different forms of art intrigues me to how artist uses the same materials, a variety of techniques, and significant forms, but produces a peculiar creation of art, made distinctively by the original artist.       
"Time and culture influenced both of these modern artist" (Goodman), both artists Braque and Modigliani are modern painters that uses the same medium oil paint and canvass, yet their works of art are opposite styles and techniques that evokes aesthetic emotions.

   What is the true value of art when emotion makes people spends millions of dollars on paintings? There are numerous versions of this painting, and the style captures a quite few of audiences. The French post-impressionist artist Paul Cezanne drew references for studying the objects to depict the vision of impressions. Whether its a man sitting down smoking a pipe, later then became the famous and expensive painting, The Card Players. Cezanne had many visions for his paintings from the rich to the poor, he went all over town exploring and painting different settings from observing subjects. Particularly these card players are actually peasants and the lower class side of town has a very simplistic look. Each and every painting of Cezanne consists of his character in terms of brush strokes, contrasting light and dark, lines and shape. Looking at the painting I see a 2 men playing cards on a table indoors. When observing (subjectively), all of these elements does really set the true value of the art work by observing its potentials and means. Intriguingly, If Cezanne was still alive will he be a main stream artist today and earn the same amount of currency in his days?

                                                                       

Freedom Tunnel

Art is seen every day all around. But how do we define art and to what extent does it affect our common era today. Art influenced the style of the common era through various elements: Through performance, visualization, and thought process is a strive in our human culture. Media plays a big role influencing the artist’s creativity. From one visual thought shared with the other, then recreates a new and twisted meaning. 

Living in the heart of New York City I wonder along the sidewalk streets mesmerized by the city’s natural beauty. While much of the city’s graffiti has been deteriorating, some of the more provocative tags still exist beneath the riverside ground. My buddies and I discovered these spray-painted secrets on a recent trip to the Freedom Tunnel, a legend among street art underground urban explorers. Freedom was built in the 1930’s by Robert Moses and deserted soon after, the tunnel became a safe haven for the homeless who camped in the underground shelter. Pape’s “Coca-Cola Mural” contrasted the weathered face of a hobo, a la Walker Evans, with a cartoon of the American 1950′s family. I would encourage anyone to visit the Freedom Tunnel and see Pape’s work and other graffiti masterpieces. The tunnel is still used by Amtrak, so staying alert is crucial in case a train speeds by. Homeless people continue to dwell among the freedom tunnel legacy as well. Our biggest challenge and the most fun was the journey into the tunnel.  After climbing fences to find an easy  access towards the entrance, we were forced to squeeze through another gate, fortunately the second gate was an ease but ended up with minor scrapes and temporary muscle pain.

Freedom is about forgetting the dangers that might be lurking in the shadows (When the train is approaching). I bug out wondering underneath the city streets into a trip where you feel like the only person left on earth. Air vents let in subtle pillars of sunlight portraying a holy aura of Freedom. Much of the graffiti is visually placed beneath these shafts or columns, providing a dramatic lighting that any eye can envision in any gallery.
