9 - This course definitely sharpened and brought out my adoration for art but I've always had that adoration even as a kid, I was always an artist and art lover at heart. So in a way, it didn't change much since my love and the way I see and experience art has always existed. But definitely opened my eye to new views, for example now I can identify what kind of painting or drawing an art piece is. Before it was just a drawing or a a painting but because of this course, I'm able to determine the category or type of art that it falls into, like whether it's monochromatic, achromatic, representational, nonrepresentational, abstract etc. I'm glad I took this course I had an amazing time and learned a lot more than I expected to.
10 - There isn't much I'd change in this course but I do think it would've been interesting to do drawings/paintings of our version of an abstract or representational work of art, but that would've been more work for the others of course! I wouldn't ave minded it though. It would've been nice to see a little bit more of medieval art, or some neo-surrealism. But that's just art that I personally enjoy, who knows if other students would. The methods of learning in this class are fine in my opinion. Less stressful and fairly easy, especially for college. And of course, enjoyable unlike most classes. Checking out the museums were definitely useful. Being able to see and experience an artwork up close, in person is far more superior than seeing it online. I honestly think the course is fine, no need for improvement, it's perfect the way it is, no stress, and fun to go to. Matter of fact I always looked forward to going to this class, I'm glad to have been apart of it!
