| Three Blue Squares |
This piece 3 Blue Squares was spotted on Hunters Point Ave and 30th street. It is monochromatic, only using different shades of blue, which looked great against the blue sky. The piece is also made up of only painted geometric shapes (squares) but the square shapes are also echoed in the medium, which are big pieces of wood. There is also a little range of value- which can be seen where the blue in the middle is the most dark, and the main square around it has a little more light or transparency. The layering of all the same geometric shapes and same colors work together in this abstract accidental art.

| American Flag Sculpture |
I called this piece American Flag Sculpture, and it was spotted at 73 Market Street in Newark NJ. The sculpture/installation is made of triangular pieces of plastic tied together and then wrapped into the tree branches. By using only red, white and blue as the colors, it lets the work stand out against the grey concrete sidewalk and the brown tree. The sculpture also moves in the wind adding a changing element to it. The piece also has a lot of negative space, in between each flag and the string they are toed to.
