The Water Dragon is Born (left) and Just Did It (right)
It happened one night where I was about to get a glass of water in my house, but accidentally spilled some on the floor which formed into a serpent like animal, much like a chinese dragon. The water drops formed a geometric circular line that barely connects a whole 360 degrees. There is the illusion of 3D, if you look at the bottom of the shape the shades of dark contrasts with the opposing shades of light on the top of the shape. It is clear color, which takes the color of the wooden floor, which is brown and gives a neutral mood.
As for the right picture, it happened a while ago during a skate session at I.S.5 Middle school in Elmhurst with my buddy while he was filming me doing a 360 flip. I paused the recording and saw myself in a Nike ad poster. The lines of my legs and body form a non-geometric kind of check symbol. The darkness of my face and legs stresses the fact that the person is not important in this shot, but the shape is. The colors are mostly cool colors with a lot of blue on the bottom half, but there are complimentary orange from the sun at the top of the shot.
